Hi, Thank you! Congrats on getting an interview! Your gut feeling is usually the right one btw :)
Ok so here are my “words of wisdom”. During the interview it’s important to be honest and to be yourself. It’s perfectly normal to be nervous! For me, once I started talking about how passionate I was about becoming a doctor, my nerves slowly faded :)
Practice answering these 4 questions (these were the main ones they asked me!)
1. Why do you want to be a doctor?
2. Why should Ross accept you, what sets you apart from the other pre-meds?
3. Why do you want to go to Ross?
4. What are your strengths?
5. What are you weaknesses?
Remember in all of your answers, you want to exude passion for people and for medicine. Ross wants to make sure that you genuinely care about people and improving their quality of life. If they ask you a question that you haven’t thought of an answer to, don’t panic, just answer it to the best of your ability! I was asked 2 off the wall questions that I had to stumble my way through haha. Try to enjoy the process and live in the moment, this is an exciting time in your life! I’m sure you’ll do great :)
